Pizzeria Alberico

Definitely the best pizza in Boulder, and the people who disagree are used to Dominos ketchup on cardboard. Delicious Neapolitan style pizza, great appetizers and really really good gelatos desserts with fun interesting flavors. I don’t drink but drinks seem good too.

Stopped in recently and overall had a good experience. The pizza was definitely the highlight—great crust, good balance of toppings, and really well-executed. The sourdough was another standout; super flavorful and perfectly textured. The salads, however, were a bit underwhelming. Fresh ingredients, but they lacked seasoning and overall flavor compared to the rest of the meal. Service and atmosphere were solid, and I’d go back mainly for the pizza and sourdough. A little more attention to the salads would make the experience even better.

Loved the fungi pizza. It was outstanding. The squash blossom pizza was not a squash blossom pizza. It had a few wilted blossoms on it, but all you could taste was the pesto slathered everywhere. It was a good pesto pizza. Not a squash blossom pizza at all. Started w a dozen oysters, which were excellent, and I love the eye dropper for the mignonette. Budino dessert is not as flavorful as it used to be, still good. Service was good, though the server seemed to be uncorking a wine bottle for the first time in her life.

Such a treat to come here. Everyone works so hard and the attention and care is noticed in everything they do. Great happy hour, desserts, cocktails, etc. The Budino is perhaps the best thing I have ever eaten. Just found out it’s made next door at Frasca, so that checks out. It’s been a staple restaurant since I’ve moved to Boulder, I always recommend!

Definitely the best Pizza in town. The craft cocktails are so delicious and elevated. Please don’t miss out on this Restaurant when your visiting Boulder. RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST. They are popular and busy busy. I hope they expand soon!

We had the great privilege of dining at Pizzeria Alberico and arrived about 15 minutes after opening at 4PM and were fortunate to find a spot at the intimate bar. I highly recommend getting there early, as the place fills up quickly. To start, we ordered a few delicious small bites from the happy hour menu: garlic knots and a Caesar salad. We paired these with a couple of glasses of their house wine, which were delightful. Much to my amazement, the legendary restaurateur and self-described "hospitalian," Bobby Stuckey, was there! He graciously stopped by the bar, as he often does with customers when he's on site, and inquired about our experience. Bobby recommended a wonderful Chianti, which perfectly complemented our meal—it was fabulous. His attention to detail and dedication to training his staff over the years truly shines through in the dining experience. My wife and I have had the privilege of dining at his restaurants multiple times, and while this was our first visit to Pizzeria Alberico, it will certainly not be our last. This experience inspired us to make a reservation at Fresca, and we look forward to enjoying that first-class experience once again.
